The Sticky Wall
When leading meetings, I use ToP or "the Technology of Participation."

The ToP method involves the use of a large wall-mounted "sticky wall" on which participants' best ideas are displayed and on which consensus emerges.

ToP (or Technology of Participation) discussions start with observations about facts and then move through various emotional reactions that such facts produce in participants. ToP facilitation uses participants' analysis in order to produce ambitious, realistic plans that are "owned."

In the end, the ToP method allows participants to agree on a promising, concrete action plan that can be easily implemented and tracked.
